Work Begins at Kabazana
Just a few pictures. Our contractor has commenced work. They are digging a new pit latrine, and beginning work on the foundation for the new building.
Items of note.
As I indicated a while back, we have, for the last six months, been needing to repair the ministry motorcycle. Our deacons use this to get around inside the camp, which saves them a bundle on transport, since they only need to come up with the money for fuel. Just in time for our departure, enough money came in to fully fund the engine overhaul the bike so badly needed. Thank you for meeting this need!
There are several more projects out at the camp we are trying to fund. You can learn more at Outstanding Projects.
Finally got caught up on some internal housekeeping with the website.
I had installed a new SSL certificate, which was causing the theme to not load correctly site wide. Finally figured out what was causing this and fixed it.
Also fixed the social media buttons so they display correctly. Everything should be working now.
Sorry for the crummy display there for a bit.
I know it has been awhile since I sent a report out. I am aware of the lengthy time that has passed. Normally I’d never let this much time go by, but I was expecting to have my NGO and paperwork renewed like any day, and it took way longer than anticipated. I should have that this week or next week. Please pray we get it this week. Then I’ll put out a full update with a bit more details.
Spoilers: churches are doing well, lots of people have been saved and baptized, training my men, and the unity among brethren is strong. God is very good.
I hope to have the anticipated good news very very soon.
God bless you!
