Welcome to our Outstanding Projects page! Here is a list of all the projects that need to be done out at the Nakivale Refugee camp. Would you prayerfully consider contributing to fund one or more of these projects?

You can give a little. You can give a lot. Just make sure you use the name for the project you want to fund when you designate your donation. All funds are handled via Central Missionary Clearinghouse’s Click & Give, and are tax-deductible.

Donated funds will accrue until the project is fully funded. Then you will get project updates, along with pictures and video until the work is complete.

God bless you!

*FUNDED* Water tanks: $3500 each (We need 2)

All of our churches have water tanks now. We were given enough extra that we could also get some needed repairs done at Ngarama IBC, re-paint, put in a gate for security, and repair the drive that gets my car onto the property, complete with a culvert to keep the water from washing it away.

TOTAL TANKS BUILT: 2

*FUNDED* Repair the ministry motorcycle: $1000

We bought a motorcycle a while back for use by our deacons within the camp. Gas is going for over $6 a gallon right now, so the cost of transport within the camp is triple what it used to be. Having the motorcycle saves our deacons a fortune, and allows them to move about more easily for ministry purposes. Thanks to your generosity, we now have a powerful, fully restored motorcycle.

TOTAL RAISED: $1000

*FUNDED* Rebuild the Kabazana church building: $16,500

We have built a new building and want to refurbish the old one to become a classroom. We have built a baptistry, a new toilet, and have put in a water reclamation tank. We have put in a gate for better security. Plus, we have built more benches, and a new pulpit and Lord’s Supper table. Construction is now complete. Thank you!

TOTAL RAISED: $16500

Refurbish the OLD Kabazana church building: $6000

The old building needs to be refurbished to be used as a classroom. It needs repairs to the floor, the walls, and the roof, and new paint. Then it will make a perfect Sunday School room.

TOTAL RAISED: $0

*FUNDED* Book shelves for the Sangano Primary School: $75 each (we need 17)

I am placing book shelves to hold age appropriate reading material in each of the classrooms. We now have all the shelves we need to put books in every classroom. We are nearly finished moving books to the camp. I have been taking the out there a carload at a time, every time we go to Sangano. At long last, our library is complete!

TOTAL SHELVES BUILT: 17

TOTAL RAISED: $1,275

Expansions and repairs to Sangano Baptist church building and school: $35,000

IBC of Sangano has grown too big for its building. The sanctuary needs to be rebuilt bigger, along with the baptistry and the toilet. The school buildings are still in good shape, but they need minor repairs and paint, as does the front gate. I would also like to add two more water tanks to meet the sanitary hydration needs of so many students and church members.

TOTAL RAISED: $0

Rebuild the parsonage at Sangano Baptist: $10,000

Our Assistant Pastor Zizi, his wife, and his seven children are living in what was meant to be the library building at Sangano. That building was too small for a library. Zizi’s old house fell down and had to be demolished so he moved into the library building. The new structure is too small, and the water floods in when it rains. The building has become unstable due to rain and poor construction. It has become a hazard. We need to knock it down and build something proper. This man has served all the churches faithfully. He stuck with it through the COVID lockdowns. He does this for no pay. He needs a house.
